Why I built it
I run affiliate content sites in a couple of very different niches, and I kept hitting the same wall every keyword tool has: they will show you search volume all day, but almost none of them tell you whether you can actually win the keyword, meaning whether the sites already ranking are weak enough to realistically outrank.
So I stitched together a Python script that pulled keyword ideas, checked the real top-10 rankings, and cross-referenced referring domains, basically doing by hand what I wished a tool would just do for me.
That script turned into SEO Vein Finder: a prospecting tool built the way I actually wanted to work, not a feature list assembled to look impressive on a pricing page.
Why "SEO Vein Finder"?
In gold mining, a vein is a thin seam of ore running through otherwise ordinary rock. Most of the ground is just rock. The gold is concentrated in narrow, easy-to-miss channels.
